I have written the draft of 2 poems about reading books, or possibly what reading books can do. I am not sure if these poems are instances of Big Magic or if they are solely mine. Here they are:
Reading a Book Again
When reading a book,
it's the ones where
I feel the stirring of
the characters wanting
to live on, to tell another
tale, those are the
ones I want to read again.

There is a book
that I have read
seven times, I think.
I so connect with,
crave more from
the characters
that I write
someone else's
book in my head.
